Jonah Batist is an associate at Greenspoon Winikoff, where he practices in the area of corporate and commercial law and advises clients on mergers and acquisitions and general business law matters. Jonah works closely with clients at each stage of the transaction and is adept at assisting clients with respect to the handling of due diligence, the drafting of related commercial agreements and various closing matters. He has a specific interest in working with start-ups, particularly in the technology sector.

Jonah is an active board member of the Compass Startup Legal Clinic, a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to empower entrepreneurs by providing curated legal and business resources, information, workshops, and access to a network of partners that get start-ups off the ground.

Jonah has a Juris Doctor (J.D.), a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. He is a member of the Quebec Bar.
